Wednesday night's ESPY Awards honored the best athletes and moments from the past year, featuring powerful social statements as well as heartwarming and heartbreaking stories from the sports world. Sprinkled throughout were some lighthearted segments, including a parody of a Gatorade commercial which highlighted recently-retired Peyton Manning's letter-writing tradition.

In the mock tribute, Peyton's letters are not quite as uplifting. They include a taunt of his brother, Giants Quarterback Eli Manning, for having the same number of championship rings.

"Dearest Eli," the younger Manning reads, "I've now won as many Super Bowls as you have. Just FYI."

Eli reacts with, "He sends this to me every week now. He also texts this to me a whole bunch." Followed by, "That's him." as a text alert is heard.

Family patriarch Archie Manning’s letter says, "Dear Dad, stop telling the media that you love all of your children equally. It's embarrassing. No one is buying it."

Eli is further teased in a letter to Yankees great Derek Jeter. "Just wanted to let you know, you are my favorite New York athlete. Don't tell Eli ... or tell him. I don't care."

One fictional letter did give props to Eli's pair of championship wins over the Patriots. In New England Quarterback Tom Brady's letter, Peyton writes, "I just want you to know I think of you like a brother. A brother who lost to my other brother all the time."
