Q: How important was it to have a game like this for next year?
A: It’s key. You want to go into next season confident and giving confidence also to the coaching staff and the players around you. So my job was to go out there and make the plays when my number was called.
Q: Were you kind of surprised that this didn’t come earlier?
A: Not really. You just have to wait on your time. You can’t rush things. When you’re out there, do your job and do the best to your ability. So that’s what I pride myself on doing whenever I’m out there doing my job and whatever happens, happens.
Q: Did you feel more confident today?
A: Yeah. I was feeling pretty good with the game plan and understanding what they were going to play and just happy being on the same page with Eli. We understand what we wanted to do and what we wanted to accomplish going out there today.
Q: What do you have to work on for next year?
A: Just continue to get better overall. You can never be too perfect. So I’m just going to continue to do the little things right and work on techniques, running routes, releases and just continue to get better as an overall player.
Q: What was the biggest challenge that you and 
A: Just being professionals and understanding what we had to do on and off the field and just being more mature, growing as each week went by. Just continue to work hard in practice and gain the trust in the players and in the coaching staff.
Q: How will your success this season push you through workouts in the offseason?
A: It will build. We know what we’re capable of doing, so it’ll push us harder coming into next season when we go out there and make more plays, play a little faster and be more confident.
Q: Did David Wilson and yourself feel that you guys were finally let loose?
A: I guess so. The coaches gained a little trust in us. Each week we just continued to try to get better and gain the trust and today we went out there and executed our game plan and made plays.
Q: How much confidence does it give you to make those plays against a guy like Nnamdi Asomugha?
A: A lot of confidence when you’re going against one of the best in the league. It shows what you’re capable of doing and once you continue to work and get better, there’s no telling what you can do out there.
