Ahmad Bradshaw’s recent release from the New York Giants means there will be a new backfield dynamic in 2013. But what exactly it will look like is yet to be determined.

Tom Coughlin likes to build his teams through internal competition, and the running back position is no different. Just like Bradshaw had to climb the ranks, the top two returning backs to compete will be David Wilson and Andre Brown, while others look to enter the mix. There is a long road to the start of next season – the Giants still have the avenues of free agency and the NFL Draft in front of them – but here is the current state of the position:
