Amukamara is not exactly treating the start like a major milestone.
“Last week, I came in on the second play, but I didn’t start the first play,” he said. “My mentality is always going to be the same – prepare as a starter and study as a starter. I was starting all the preseason games, so it’s really not much different.”
*With Hosley sidelined, the Giants could use
“I think everybody puts pressure on themselves if they want to play,” Coe said. “It’s a big game, it’s a divisional game and especially to jump out in the lead in our division. So I definitely want to play against a great quarterback, great receivers, so I’m going to do whatever I can and keep doing that until I make sure I’m available on Sunday.”
*Coughlin was asked what will happen if neither Hosley nor Coe can play.

*Still more news about defensive backs: cornerback
“They’ve been trying a few different things,” Webster said. “I think we’ll have it by Sunday.”
Webster said he made a couple of one-handed interceptions in practice this week.
“I’ve been practicing on catching the ball one-handed,” he said. “That’s what I do, so I’m expecting to have a few more balls come my way. That’s a great opportunity for me. Hopefully I can make the best of those opportunities.”
Webster played most of the Carolina game with a cast on his hand.
“I made a few good tackles in the game so I didn’t see the tackling (as an issue),” he said. “(It’s) just catching the ball. Knocking the ball down, it is what it is, to get there and knock it down is easy, but I like catching if I can. I think that will be the hardest thing.”
