A: I feel good. I’m not running how I’m used to, but I still feel good out there. I’m just taking it day by day.
Q: Is that the kind of thing where you just have to be good enough to be able to consider playing in the game or do you have to be all the way back?
A: I’m still learning that. I’m asking the players, but I think it’s good enough just knowing if it’s an injury or if it’s just you’re hurt.
Q: Where are you right now with your confidence and being able to go out there on Sunday?
A: I’m still not sure. Today wasn’t really like a high level practice, but it was high in intensity and high in speed, so I couldn’t answer that right now.
Q: When did you run?
A: Yesterday. Yesterday was my first time running and then the trainers saw how confident I was and they allowed me to go today.
Q: Were you a little hesitant yesterday on how you would feel today?
A: When I’m at my house, I bounce up and down or do jumping jacks and see what I can do and I told them I felt comfortable, so yeah. I was confident when I went out.
Q: Are you concerned with how you will feel tomorrow or do you think you’ll be okay?
A: Not really. I know I’m a little bit sore now, but I know that pain will go away?
Q: How did you feel this morning when you woke up?
A: Just a little sore, but I guess that comes just with a high ankle sprain.
Q: Do you think you’ll play on Sunday?
A: I’m very optimistic.
Q: Is there a sense of urgency to get back on the field?
A: There’s always a sense of urgency in my head and just trying to get back on the field, but of course just with our cornerback situation and with guys going down, that does put pressure on me to try to get back on the field that much more, but I’m doing everything I can. If there was a magic pill, I’ll take it.
