Know Your Opponent: Cowboys Roster
Also sitting out are fullback John Conner and cornerback Trumaine McBride, who each have hip flexor injuries. Running back Brandon Jacobs and cornerback Terrell Thomas will not practice because of ongoing knee issues. Thomas has missed a day of practice each week to rest his surgically-repaired knee.
Cornerback Corey Webster, who has missed six of the last eight games with groin and ankle injuries, was scheduled to do individual drills. “We hope,” Coughlin said, “and then we’ll see where we are with that.”

- A stark difference in the Giants and Cowboys is their turnover differentials. The Giants are tied for 29th in the NFL at minus-11. Dallas is tied for second in the league at plus-11. The Cowboys have 22 takeaways, including six in their season-opening victory over the Giants on Sept. 8. Those six Giants giveaways turned into 24 Dallas points in a game the Giants lost, 36-31.
Coughlin was asked at his news conference today about his thoughts following that game.
“Our expectations were extremely high and we had, quite frankly, just kind of wrapped it up and handed it to them,” he said. “That was the devastation of it for me.”
