Today's Blitz takes a look at Victor Cruz getting an award for his salsa dance, top Giants player Tweets and six Giants stories from around the web.

Some things never get old.

Baseball, apple pie, and Victor Cruz’s salsa dance.

The Giants WR is doing as much salsa dancing off the field as he did on it – and now he’s winning awards for it. Monday night Cruz was given the honor for the 2012 Dance Machine at the second annual Cartoon Network “ Hall of Game Awards” hosted by future NBA hall-of-famer turned television celeb Shaquille O’Neal, who treated viewers to his own moves.

“First off, I like to thank God for giving me these awesome salsa moves,” Cruz said to the crowd upon accepting the award. “Second off, I like to thank all you kids for voting for me. I like to thank my grandmother too who taught me how to do this dance. And she’s the reason why I do it.”

It seems as if the salsa moves are here to stay, in and offseason.
