Notes and statistics from the Giants’ 27-23 victory over the Washington Redskins. *The Giants won their third consecutive game, improved to 5-2 and remain in first place in the NFC East entering their game in Dallas next week.

*It was the 21st regular-season game in which Manning has rallied the Giants from a fourth quarter deficit or tie to win – and the second this season. Manning led the Giants to a late victory over Tampa Bay on Sept. 16. The Giants trailed in the fourth quarter of that game, 27-16.
*The 77-yarder was the sixth-longest touchdown pass of Manning’s career. Cruz has caught three of the six, including the franchise-record 99-yarder vs. the Jets last season and an 80-yarder vs. Tampa Bay on Sept. 16. Cruz also has two 74-yard touchdown receptions and a 72-yarder.
*The Giants’ 329 net passing yards were their second-highest total of the season. They threw for a franchise-record 510 yards vs. the Buccaneers.

*The Redskins scored the game’s first points on a 20-yard field goal by Kai Forbath that concluded a 17-play, 93-yard drive that took 9:11 to complete. It was the first regular-season drive of at least 17 plays against the Giants since Philadelphia had an 18-play series here on Nov. 20, 2011, the first drive of at least 93 yards since Dallas’ 94-yarder in the 2011 season finale, and the longest in terms of time by an opposing team since Arizona owned the ball for 9:20 on Oct. 2, 2011.
*The teams were tied at halftime, 13-13. It was the Giants’ first deadlock after two quarters since Nov. 6, 2011, when it was 0-0 at the half at New England. The Giants also won that game by four points, 24-20.
*Manning completed 26 of 40 passes for 337 yards, the touchdown to Cruz and two interceptions. It was his 25th regular-season 300-yard game. The Giants are 13-12 in those games. The 337 yards were Manning’s highest total vs. Washington and only his second 300-yard game vs. the Redskins (305 yards on Nov. 30, 2008).
*Manning was sacked once, with 4:52 remaining in the game. It was the first time he was sacked since 1:37 remained in the third quarter in the victory at Carolina on Sept 20. The Giants had not allowed a sack in three consecutive games and Manning had thrown 148 consecutive passes between sacks.
