Get caught up with the latest Big Blue happenings

1. McShay says Lewan. In his Mock Draft 4.0, ESPN’s Todd McShay has the Giants selecting Michigan offensive tackle Taylor Lewan with the 12th overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. “Lewan would be a steal for the Giants at No. 12, as they need a left tackle and Lewan has the ability to be a very good one in the NFL if he can improve his strength,” McShay wrote. “He has great experience and durability (started 48 of 50 career games), is a very good technician as a run-blocker and has quick feet and hands as a pass protector.”

2. Inside the Film Room. views the coaches tape to break down the 2013 season of offensive lineman James Brewer, who is entering his fourth NFL season with the Giants.

3. ICYMI. The NFL has released the New York Giants' preseason schedule for 2014, and it’s loaded with AFC teams. After facing the Buffalo Bills in the annual Hall of Fame Game, they will meet the same four teams they played last summer, and in the same order – Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, the Jets and New England.
