1. Some light throwing. After undergoing an ankle procedure last month, Eli Manning has taken another step in his recovery by doing “some light throwing,” according to his brother and Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning.

3. Dottino on the clock. Giants.com has chosen three draft-day scenarios for a new web series leading up to the 2014 NFL Draft, which begins May 8. 5. Reese surprises lucky fan. Robert Sutherland, a retired New York City fireman from North Bellmore, N.Y., was the winner of the Giants’ Draft Day Experience, which includes presenting Big Blue’s No. 1 Nike jersey to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for the Giants’ first-round pick in the upcoming draft on May 8. Sutherland will also carry the New York Giants New Era Draft Cap on the red carpet leading up to the event at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
