Thomas, 6-3 and 307 pounds, played his first five NFL seasons with the Denver Broncos. He played in 76 games with 34 starts and had 180 tackles (119 solo), one sack, two interceptions, four passes defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Thomas played in all 64 regular season games in his first four years, joining Rubin Carter (1975-78) as the only interior defensive lineman in Broncos history to accomplish that feat.
