*The Giants won their fifth consecutive game, their longest winning streak since they won five in a row from Oct. 3-Nov. 7, 2010.

*The Giants improved to 7-3 and have exceeded their victory total from each of the previous two seasons (when they were 6-10) – with six games remaining.

*This is the Giants' best 10-game start since they were 9-1 in 2008.

*The Giants' seven victories have been by a total of 27 points.

*The Giants improved to 5-1 in MetLife Stadium. In the previous three seasons, they had won four, three and three home games. Five victories is their highest total at home since they were 6-2 in 2012.

*With the victory, the Giants concluded a 3-0 homestand. This is the first time the Giants won three games at home in consecutive weeks since Oct 21-Nov 4, 1962, when they beat Detroit, Washington, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

*The Giants were the 127th team since 1990 to play at least three consecutive home games, and the 29th to go 3-0.

*The Giants did not commit a turnover, ending their NFL-long streak of 18 consecutive games with at least one giveaway.

*The Giants have won their last eight games in which they held their opponents to less than 20 points. Their last such loss was a 16-10 defeat to San Francisco on Nov. 16, 2014.

*For the fourth time this season, the Giants won the coin toss and deferred. They are 3-1 in those games.

*The Giants rushed for 102 yards one week after running for 122 yards in a victory vs. Cincinnati. This is the first time they have had back-to-back 100-yard rushing games since Nov. 30-Dec. 7, 2014 at Jacksonville and Tennessee.

*The Giants trailed at halftime, 16-9. This is the second time this season they rallied from a halftime deficit to win a game. On Oct. 16, they fell behind Baltimore after two quarters, 10-7, before going on to win, 27-23.

*The Giants outscored Chicago in the second half, 13-0 (all in the third quarter). This is the second time in their five-game winning streak they shut out their opponents in the second half. On Oct. 23 in London, they had a 7-0 advantage in the last two quarters in a 17-10 victory against the Rams.

*This is the third time this season the Giants did not allow a second-half offensive touchdown. In addition to the two victories, they held the Packers to a pair of field goals in the third and fourth quarters in a 23-16 loss in Green Bay.

*Robbie Gould missed two extra point attempts in the windy conditions in MetLife. The first, in the opening quarter, hit the left upright and ended the Giants' streak of successful extra point tries at 47. Their most recent miss had been by Josh Brown on Oct. 4, 2015, which ended a streak of 330 straight successes.

Gould was wide left after the Giants' final touchdown in the third quarter. The Giants missed two extra points in a game for the first time since Sept. 30, 1984, in a loss to the Rams in Los Angeles.

*Gould wasn't alone. Connor Barth – Gould's successor as the Bears' kicker – was wide right on an extra point attempt and hit the right upright on a 52-yard field goal attempt. NFL kickers missed a record 11 PATs in the early games on Sunday.

*Rashad Jennings had a season-high 21 rushing attempts (three more than he had opening day in Dallas) and his 85 yards were two shy of the season-best he set last Monday vs. Cincinnati.

*Jennings scored the Giants' first touchdown on a 2-yard run with 4:04 remaining in the first quarter. It was his second touchdown of the season. He scored the game-winning touchdown in the Giants' victory against the Rams in London on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter.

*Jennings also tied Sterling Shepard and Odell Beckham, Jr. for the team lead with a season-high five receptions, his highest total since he had eight catches vs. Dallas on Nov. 23, 2014.

*Eli Manning completed 21 of 36 passes for 227 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions for a passer rating of 95.5. The touchdown passes were nine yards to Will Tye and 15 yards to Shepard, both in the decisive third quarter.

*Shepard had a team-high 50 receiving yards and scored a touchdown in his third consecutive game, the longest streak by a Giants rookie since Beckham's four-game stretch to close the 2014 season. Beckham scored in five straight games last year.

*Tye scored his first touchdown of the season. He scored three as a rookie in 2015.

*Victor Cruz's lone reception was a 48-yard catch-and-run in the third quarter, his longest gain since he had a 61-yarder vs. Houston on Sept. 21, 2014.

*Safety Landon Collins made the big play at the end of the game, intercepting a Jay Cutler pass at the Giants' 21-yard line with 1:11 remaining to end the Bears' last threat. Collins has intercepted at least one pass in four consecutive games, the first Giants player to do that since cornerback Phillippi Sparks also had a four-game streak from Oct. 15-Nov. 12, 1995.

*Rookie Eli Apple started at left cornerback and led the team with seven tackles (five solo).

*Jason Pierre-Paul had 2.5 sacks of Cutler, his most prolific game since he had 2.5 sacks of Washington's Robert Griffin III on Dec. 14, 2014. JPP entered the game with 1.5 sacks this season.

*Pierre-Paul is now tied for the team lead with Olivier Vernon, who picked up a sack for the third consecutive game and also has 4.0 for the season.

*Johnathan Hankins had the Giants' other half-sack.

*Marshall Newhouse started at left guard for the injured Justin Pugh. It was Newhouse's 53rd career start and his first at guard. He had previously started 24 games at right tackle – including the first two this season – 26 at left tackle, and two as an extra tight end. With 13:22 remaining in the fourth quarter, Marshall left the game with a sprained knee, the fourth Giants left guard to be injured in three games (also Brett Jones and Adam Gettis, who replaced Newhouse, who soon returned to the game).

*Wide receiver Roger Lewis, Jr. left the game with a concussion.

*The Giants game captains were John Jerry, Damon Harrison, and former Bears kicker Robbie Gould.

*The Giants' inactive players were Pugh (knee), offensive lineman Brett Jones (calf), tight end Larry Donnell, cornerback Leon Hall, defensive tackle Robert Thomas, wide receiver Tavarres King, and quarterback Josh Johnson.

Pugh missed his second consecutive game since hurting his knee vs. Philadelphia on Nov. 6.

Donnell, who started the first four and six of the first seven games, was inactive for the first time this season as McAdoo opted to dress an extra offensive lineman (Shane McDermott, signed yesterday off the practice squad). McDermott made his NFL debut.

*Offensive lineman Will Beatty, inactive the previous two weeks, played in his third game of the season, on special teams and as an extra lineman.
