COUGHLIN: Morning. We’re excited to be playing in the division, going down to Philadelphia this Sunday night. Philadelphia is typically fifth in the league on offense, fifth in the league on defense. They have two young returners who were in the top ten in punt return and kickoff return, in Johnson and Boykin, in the preseason. So, very, very physical, very fast football team. For two weeks, led the league in offensive production, had some turnovers, which has been the reason that, I would imagine, the scoring’s not the way they would want it to be. However, very explosive football team, and we have our work cut out for us.

Q: Anything in particular they do against the pass this year?
A: They have 14 plays over 20 yards.

Q: I think you said they were ranked fifth against the pass?
A: Yeah. They’re pretty good against everything. They’ve got an outstanding rush, they dress nine defensive linemen, and they play them all. It’s all about getting after the quarterback.

WR HAKEEM NICKS
Q: How do you feel after a week off?
A: I’m definitely looking forward to Philly. Obviously a big game for us, a rivalry game. They know us, we know them. I’m looking forward to it. My body feels pretty good. I had about a week off, so I’ll get out there and practice tomorrow and see how it goes from there.

Q: How is playing in Philly different than any other place in the league?
A: Well, it’s our rival. It’s an intense game; their fans will definitely be in it. We do well when our backs are up against the wall. Their fans and everybody else are going to be rooting against us in the stadium. We just need to go out there and play great team ball and click on all cylinders and play hard.

Q: Some names have changed on their defense, but their personality seems pretty similar?
A: Definitely. They are still the same Eagles; they still have that tough mentality, still play a lot of the same coverages and defenses. It’s going to be about our approach, and how we approach the game, the mentality that we need to win, and just do that.

WR VICTOR CRUZ
Q: What was it like after your game at Philadelphia last year and all the support from your family?
A: It was a little crazy, yeah, everybody was hitting me up, similar to after the Jets game and stuff like that. This one counted, so it felt different, my phone kind of blew up to say the least. It was a good time.

Q: Was that the first salsa?
A: That was the first salsa, yes.

Q: The “Birthplace of the Salsa?”
A: I guess so, I guess so, in a sense. It’s been a lot of salsa since then. It’s good to go back to where it all started and hopefully get another one.
