WR Hakeem Nicks on the Giants comeback victory over the Washington Redskins

Q: When Moss scored that second TD, was there any doubt in your mind Eli could lead you back?
A:  I never doubt us, I never doubt our talent. We’ve got playmakers all over the field. I know somebody is going to get left open, somebody is going to make a play. That’s what we believe as an offense and we know what we are capable of doing.

Q: What did you see from your perspective on the Manning-to-Cruz touchdown pass?

A: From my perspective, I saw the coverage roll to my side and then it was like a two-high but the middle of the field was wide open and once I saw Cruz going down the middle of the field I already knew what time it was.

Q: What does a win like this say?

A: It just shows that we never give up, we always fight and we are very competitive. It’s never over until it’s over, that’s what it tells you.

Q: Did you guys have any extra motivation playing the Redskins after how things went last season?

A: Well, we use that as motivation. We thought about last year, what they did to us last year. But also, we approached it as a new year, they are a new team over there, as well. They have RGIII over there in control. We knew what they were capable of doing but we felt things were to our advantage in certain situations.
