Q: How are you feeling?
A: I’m feeling good. It’s a new week. We just want to move on from this game and I’m just disappointed not to be out there with my teammates yesterday.
Q: How hard was it to sit home and watch that?
A: That’s tough. You just can’t do anything about it. As bad as I wanted to try, I just did the smartest thing and waited till this week.
Q: Tom said it’s a knee sprain. Is it the MCL?
A: It’s one of them.
Q: Do you think there’s a chance you can go this week?
A: Yes. I’m planning on going this week.
Q: Usually sprains are several weeks.
A: Well, I’ve done this one before. It’s healing a lot quicker than expected and my plan is to be out there Sunday.
Q: When was this previous knee sprain?
A: I don’t know.
Q: Where are you guys right now?
A: Just right now we’re inconsistent and it’s just something we've got to work on. We play better with our backs up against the wall and the playoffs start now. So that’s how we’re looking at it. We lose and we’ll be home for the playoffs. So we've just got to keep fighting, just keep our spirits up. That was a down game yesterday and hopefully we get everybody healthy for this week and get going.
Q: Do you think you’ll be able to practice at all this week?
A: I just want to rest. That’s the plan. I’ll be ready Sunday.
Q: Gilbride said you were telling him you’d be ready last week, too.
A: Yeah. I’m always ready.
Q: Do you feel like you’re farther along this week?
A: Yes, I do.
Q: Was there anything you could see on the TV that the team might not have seen yesterday?
A: I’ve been asked that question by a lot of the guys. Just a couple of pieces missing and just a couple of things we couldn’t finish. I just would’ve liked to be in there.
Q: Can you believe the team is this close to being on the edge of the playoffs?
A: We do it every year.
