In Wednesday’s pre-practice press conference, Tom Coughlin gave two blunt affirmations. Will
“Yes,” the head coach said of the running back who missed last week’s game in Carolina due to a neck injury suffered in Week 2.
Will he start?
“Yes,” he said later on.
Bradshaw was one of 10 players listed on the pre-practice injury report, but if all goes according to schedule this week, he will be on the field in Philadelphia as the Giants look to improve to 3-1 against the Eagles.
As for
“One year we had three guys,” Coughlin said. “There’s a long, long way to go. We’re just happy that we’ve had an opportunity to develop some players, and they will all have a chance to contribute.”
He added: “At this point in time, it’ll be according to how will we plan to use them. Then naturally we reserve the right to who has the hot hand. So many times that’s been Ahmad that’s been in that situation, and certainly that’s helped.”
