Nicks, who was inactive for the Giants’ victory at Carolina last week because of foot soreness, is listed as doubtful with foot/knee injuries. He did not practice today.
Nicks was hurt during his outstanding 10-catch, 199-yard performance vs. Tampa Bay on Sept. 16. He limped off the field after running downfield on a pass pattern. It was assumed it was because of soreness in his surgically-repaired foot, but it might have been when he hurt his knee.
After practicing yesterday, Nicks sat out the workout today. He has missed consecutive games twice previously in his career – as a rookie on Sept. 20 and 27, 2009 and on Nov. 28 and Dec. 5, 2010.
“It’s always disappointing (when Nicks is sidelined),” said fellow wide receiver
Rolle returned to practice on a limited basis after staying inside yesterday because of the bruise and lacerated knee he suffered vs. the Panthers. Coach Tom Coughlin made no commitment about playing Rolle, saying, “He moved around okay, I think. He’s making progress.”
Rolle has started all 39 regular-season and postseason games since joining the team in 2010.

Bradshaw said yesterday his issue is with a disk. Today, Coughlin was asked if Bradshaw might have a recurrence of the problem.
“I suppose it could flare up,” Coughlin said. “In his case, he’s been treated for a couple weeks, so hopefully that’s not going to happen. It can flare up. We’ve gone through some backs we’ve gone through some necks, you do that in this game. Hopefully, once you get it under control, and you know a little bit about it, so they don’t put themselves in that type of position. Sometimes you can’t help it, but it can be reoccurring.”
