In your opinion, who is the toughest player the Giants will face on offense and defense this year?

Dear Frank,

So many to choose from. Not sure which definition of “toughest” you mean, but I’ll assume it’s something along the lines of who will be the toughest for the Giants to stop - or at least force to play below their customary standard of play. The temptation is to select Tom Brady, since he is a four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback. But the Giants have fared well against Brady. Not so Tony Romo, who has led the Cowboys to victories in four consecutive games and five of the last six vs. the Giants. Until the Giants turn that around, I’m picking Romo as the toughest foe. Defensively, I’ll go with Ndamukong Suh, who is now with Miami. He is the consensus selection as the league’s best defensive tackle and he can disrupt an opponent’s rushing and passing game. Mario Williams and Conner Barwin – who each had 14.5 sacks last season – will also be a handful.

Do you think Andre Williams is going to have a breakout year this season? He ran all over people when he was at BC and improved throughout the season last year.

Dear Kelly,

Williams had a breakout season as a rookie. He led the Giants in the three primary rushing categories – carries (217), yards (721) and touchdowns (7). Williams should continue to improve, but he’s already established himself as a productive NFL player.
