I share your concern about the depth on the offensive line. I think the starting unit is still pretty strong. The Giants allowed an NFL-low 20 sacks in 2012. But the depth is fragile, especially since Sean Locker is a free agent recovering from major knee surgery. I’m certainly no offensive line expert, but of the three players you mentioned, Brewer would seem to have the most potential. He was a fourth-round draft choice and the team is looking for him to prove is capable of stepping in and playing. Capers and Cordle were free agents and are more limited. I believe the Giants will try to improve their O-line depth this offseason, both via free agency and in the draft.
