UPDATED! Mock Draft Tracker: Experts Predict Giants Pick

Posted Apr 28, 2016

NFL Draft Experts make their predictions for the Giants First Round Pick. Follow along in our Mock Draft Tracker and check back for updates.

Mel Kiper Jr. , ESPN
OT Jack Conklin, Michigan State
"The Giants could go a few different directions here, as their spending spree in free agency, particularly on defense, doesn't mean that adding a pass-rusher or cornerback is out of the question here. But Conklin can be plugged in immediately at right tackle, and could even battle for the starting job on the left side."
MEL KIPER MOCK DRAFT TIMELINE

Todd McShay, ESPN
OL Darron Lee, Ohio State
"The Giants spent big in the offseason to improve their front four and secondary, but they still need to get a few more linebackers who can cover and get sideline-to-sideline against the run. It would mark the first time since Carl Banks in 1984 that the Giants drafted a linebacker in Round 1. Lee has been blessed with an elite combination of speed (4.47 40-yard dash) and athleticism."
TODD MCSHAY MOCK DRAFT TIMELINE

Bucky Brooks, NFL Media
DE Kevin Dodd, Clemson
"Dodd can play in a rotation with Jason Pierre-Paul, and perhaps Dodd will be his replacement down the line."
BUCKY BROOKS MOCK DRAFT TIMELINE

Daniel Jeremiah, NFL Media
RB Ezekiel Elliott
"This isn't the top need for the Giants, but Elliott is the best player available and would complement Eli Manning and Odell Beckham."
DANIEL JEREMIAH MOCK DRAFT TIMELINE

Rob Rang, CBS
OT Ronnie Stanley, Notre Dame
"After investing heavily in free agent defensive linemen Damon Harrison and Olivier Vernon, the Giants may look to the other side of the line in the first round of the draft. Last year's top pick Ereck Flowers is a capable left tackle but his bulk and physicality project better to the right side. Stanley offers an exceptional blend of quickness, agility and length."

DANE BRUGLER MOCK DRAFT TIMELINE

Peter Schrager, Fox Sports
LB Leonard Floyd, Georgia
"I keep hearing that the Giants' front office and coaching staff has a place in their hearts for Floyd. For all the additions the Giants made on defense, they still need an outside linebacker who can come off the edge."
PETER SCHRAGER MOCK DRAFT TIMELINE

Chris Burke, SI
CB Vernon Hargreaves, Florida
"Flipping Hargreaves out of the No. 8 spot after the Eagles-Browns trade puts the Florida cornerback in the Giants’ wheelhouse here. Hargreaves has the requisite footwork to be a tremendous NFL cornerback, be it outside or in the slot. This pick on top of the Janoris Jenkins signing vastly upgrades the Giants’ secondary."
