Giants and Quest Diagnostics Team Up for Player Health
Team Training Facility & Headquarters Now Quest Diagnostics Training Center

The New York Giants recently welcomed Quest Diagnostics, the world’s leading provider of laboratory diagnostic information services, as a “Proud Partner in Health” of the organization. The Giants headquarters and training facility has been newly renamed the Quest Diagnostics Training Center, and the collaboration will allow both the Giants and Quest to find new ways to use laboratory diagnostic information services to improve the health and performance of athletes of all ages.

Over the course of the long-term partnership, the Giants will join forces with Quest to develop new sports diagnostics services.

“The aim is to assist Quest in identifying and developing models and tests to help determine peak performance, provide meaningful training insights, develop analytics to maximize game day performance, reduce injuries and improve players’ overall health,” said Giants president and co-chairman John Mara.

Quest will offer the services through its newly formed sports diagnostic business, which will provide the Giants with access to the most advanced and sophisticated laboratory diagnostic tests available. In addition, they will provide a personalized roadmap that enables Giants players to take control of their own health during their playing careers and beyond. Quest will work with a select number of players on a voluntary basis to develop a new sports diagnostic information service.

“As an organization, we are committed to the mission of maximizing game-day performance and reducing injuries and improving overall health. I personally welcome Quest to our team and look forward to working together with them for the greater good of the sport of football,” said Giants head coach Tom Coughlin.

Both New Jersey-based organizations share a deep commitment to the region and the Tri-State area as a whole.

“This partnership will allow us to help athletes everywhere improve their health and performance and is yet another example of how we are delivering on our vision to empower better health through diagnostic insights,” said Quest Diagnostics CEO Steve Rusckowski.
