EAST RUTHERFORD- The Giants will face the Philadelphia Eagles today without their second-leading receiver.

Mario Manningham is inactive because of a shoulder injury suffered on the last play of practice on Thursday. He did not work on Friday, but said after practice that he expected to play.

Hakeem Nicks will start in Manningham's place.

Manningham's 28 receptions and 439 yards are second on the team to Steve Smith's 45 and 594. Smith, Manningham and Hakeem Nicks are tied for the team lead with four touchdown catches apiece.
