Giants YOUTH DAY presented by F.Y.E.
On Monday, August 11th the Giants are hosting Giants YOUTH DAY at Training Camp.  Come watch your favorite players get ready for the 2008 season! Practice begins at 2:40 pm. Fans can enjoy the day's youth focused activities including the youth football inflatable area. Following the afternoon practice, young Giants fans and their families can stay to enjoy an interactive Giants program. Since this event is all about our young Giants fans, there will be giveaways, face painters, an expanded football inflatables area, skill contests, staged drills and more! At the start of the program, a player will head over to the center of the Stadium Field where kids can see him and take pictures from the bleachers (Aaron Ross, R.W. McQuarters, and Sam Madison have all attended the event in past years)! There are no autograph opportunities during this program; however, there will be special raffles for children to win autographed Giants memorabilia. The after practice program will last for about 30 minutes, which is entirely dependant on the players' post-practice regimens.

Giants Albany Idol: New and Improved! presented by F.Y.E.
Come out and watch contestants compete for the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the Giants pre-season game on August 28th vs. the Patriots! The competition begins at the start of the evening practice at 6:10 pm on Tuesday, August 12th. In a new and improved format, the finalists from 105.7 the Buzz's radio contest will sing their favorite song for one minute. The group will then be broken down to a select few who will then sing the National Anthem, competing for the chance to sing on August 28th. Contestants compete on the Stadium Field and there will be a special Giants celebrity guest judge. There will be giveaways and raffles so be sure to come out and support your favorite singer! Past and Present Brunch
The 3rd annual Past and Present Event will be held on August 10th after the 8:40 am practice. Jessie Armstead and Chris Calloway will be the alumni hosts for the VIP viewing of practice and the brunch. There will be a Q&A session and autograph opportunities with them. Tickets are $125 and available on a limited first come, first serve, basis. SOLD OUT!

Gatorade Beat the Heat
Gatorade will be promoting the "Beat the Heat" program, highlighting the importance of keeping hydrated during summer activities. The program features a partnership with the Kendrick Fincher Foundation, an organization named after a young football player who died from heatstroke during football two-a-days and is dedicated to heat safety education. Keep an eye out for these kiosks and "Donation Days", where fans can donate money to support proper hydration.
