Giants Foundation
GameOn! Grant Program

The Giants Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by the New York Football Giants. Through the GameOn! program, the Giants Foundation seeks to secure the game of football at a grassroots level by supporting local youth football teams.

Recreational or High School football coaches can apply to the Giants Foundation for grants to help support their team. These grants must be earmarked for non-salary or non-personnel related costs. Acceptable costs include, but are not limited to, football equipment purchases, football uniforms, insurance costs, and transportation to games for children. Grants will only be made payable to schools; no checks may be written to an individual. Additionally, grant requests cannot exceed $2,500.

Application Guidelines:

1. Only Recreational or High School football coaches can apply for a Giants Foundation GameOn! grant. Official status must be verified in writing by a school administrator to be included with your application.
2. The program that would benefit from the GameOn! grant must be of a recreational or high school level.
3. The Giants Foundation will not issue grant checks to personal bank accounts.
4. The GameOn! program will only donate to non-salary or non-personnel related costs (i.e. football equipment, uniforms, insurance costs, transportation, etc.)
5. The youth or high school team requesting assistance must have been in existence for at least three years prior to the request.

Mailing Instructions:

Grant proposals must follow the attached format and include all requested information on a separate sheet of paper. Incomplete applications will be returned and will not be eligible for consideration.

Proposals will be accepted from October 1st through December 31st of each year. Grants will be announced in March to be used for the following football season. Applicants will be notified by mail as to the status of their proposal.

2. Proposed overall football program budget for upcoming season, including a detailed and itemized operating expense budget for the program, indicating the specific uses of the requested Giants Foundation grant with respective dollar amounts.
3. A list of other corporate, foundation, or other funding supporters secured for upcoming season, and/or sources that are currently being solicited for following year.

Additional Information

1. Confirmation letter from the football program’s school administrator verifying the applicant’s official status as its registered coach.
2. Any related printed material on the football program (i.e. game day programs, etc.)
3. All receipts for products purchased or services used with Giants Foundation funding.
