In an ongoing effort to prepare our players for life after football, we have established partnerships with the NFL and tri-state area companies to generate opportunities for our players to be exposed to corporate America.
Players can participate in the career internship program by partnering with a company that fits his particular interest. This affords them the opportunity to investigate their second career options, while promoting the skills and expertise they will need for a profession after football. We are hopeful that this program will also grow into a rewarding relationship between Giants players and area companies.
In preparing our players for this experience, we assist each player with developing the necessary skills and information required for him to work in a corporate setting. These include developing a resume, writing a cover letter, career explorations, and interviewing skills.

However, since some players are not interested in working in corporate America once they finish playing football, we also participate in an exciting program sponsored by the NFL - the High School Coaching Internship Program. This program is designed to support the NFL's youth football initiative while providing active NFL players the opportunity to gain football-coaching experience on the high school level. The program utilizes NFL resources to train, place and pay active NFL players for working off-season internships with area high schools.
