-           Tollefson had a least a half-sack in each of his first 4 games in 2008.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

-           Played in 19 games for the Giants the previous 2 seasons...Recorded 18 tackles (9 solo), 3.5 sacks, 1 pass defensed along with 5 special teams tackles.
-           In 2008, played in 13 games...Was inactive for 3 regular season games and the NFC Divisional Playoff Game...Finished the season with 15 tackles (7 solo), 3.5 sacks and 1 pass defensed.
-           Inactive for the first 2 games, Tollefson was active for the 1st time vs. Cincinnati (9/21) and picked up his 1st career sack when he dropped Carson Palmer for an 8-yard loss in the 3rd quarter...Inactive at Cleveland (10/13)...Sacked Matt Hasselbeck for a 3-yard loss vs. Seattle (10/5)...Teamed with Fred Robbins to sack J.T. -           Finalist for the 'Gene Upshaw Lineman Award,' given each year to the top offensive or defensive lineman in Division II.
-           Spent the 1999 and 2000 seasons as an outside linebacker at Los Medanos Community College in Pittsburg, Calif.

OFF-THE-FIELD ACTIVITY:
 
-           Played in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Golf Outing Fundraiser.
-           Attended the Giants Kickoff Luncheon benefitting St. Vincent's Medical Center.
-           Visited cadets at West Point Military Academy, and cheered on their football team at "Giants Appreciation Day."
-           Attended Everyday Health's 2nd Anniversary Celebration.
-           Attended the Giants annual "Jingle Jam" holiday party at Giants Stadium for 500 N.J. foster children.

PERSONAL:

-           Married (Megan). They have a son, Tucker Niles Tollefson (TNT), who was born last summer.
-           Majored in corporate recreation...An avid fisherman, he owns a bass boat along with three friends...Has lent volunteer assistance in the classroom and on field trips to his mother, Debi Crocker, who teaches developmentally disabled students at Concord (Calif.) High School.
-           Born David Timothy Tollefson in Walnut Creek, Calif., on July 10, 1982.
