-           Originally a 4th round (123rd pick overall) draft choice by the Giants in 2008.

GIANTS NOTES: 

-           Made valuable contributions as rookie on both special teams and on defense...Will look to compete for more playing time in his 2nd season.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

-           As a rookie in 2008, played in all 16 regular season games with 2 starts at weakside linebacker...Also played in the NFC Divisional Playoff game vs. Philadelphia...Finished the season with 30 tackles (17 solo), 1 sack, 1 interception and 1 pass defensed...Also had 4 special teams tackles.
-           Contributed a team-high 6 tackles (5 solo) at weakside linebacker after Gerris Wilkinson left the game due to injury in the 2nd quarter at Cleveland (10/13)...Made his 1st career start vs. San Francisco (10/19 at weakside linebacker and finished with 3 tackles...Started at Pittsburgh (10/26) and posted 3 tackles and 1 interception...Intercepted a Ben Roethlisberger pass for Nate Washington that was broken up by James Butler.

-           Played in 48 games with 26 starts for BYU...Career totals included 205 tackles (108 solo), 7 sacks for minus 45 yards, 20.5 stops for losses totaling 83 yards and a pair of quarterback pressures...Forced 2 fumbles and recovered 3 others...Deflected 10 passes and had 3 interceptions for 75 yards in returns, including 1 touchdown...
