TRANSACTIONS:

-           Originally a 2nd round (55th pick overall) draft choice by the Minnesota Vikings in 2000…Signed by the Giants as an unrestricted free agent on March 8, 2004.

GIANTS NOTES:

-           When Robbins and Mathias Kiwanuka each intercepted 2 passes in 2006, it was the 1st time in Giants history the team had 2 defensive linemen with multiple interceptions in the same season.
 
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

-           Robbins has played in 119 regular season games with 91 starts. Since joining the Giants in 2004, Robbins has played in 63 games with 52 starts…Robbins has started all 5 postseason games in which he’s played…Career stats include 292 tackles (169 solo), 21.0 sacks, 3 interceptions, passes defensed, 2 forced fumbles and 5 fumble recoveries...With the Giants he has 126 tackles (62 solo), 18.0 sacks, 4 fumble recoveries and 3 interceptions.
-           In 2007, played in 16 regular season with 15 starts and started all 4 postseason games…Did not start vs. the Jets (10/7) because the Giants opened in a sub defense…Finished with 42 tackles (21 solo), 5.5 sacks (tying his career high), 26 QB hurries, 10 QB hits and 1 pass defensed.
-           Picked up his 1st sack of the season at Atlanta (10/15) and when he dropped Joey Harrington for a 4-yard loss in the 2nd quarter.
-           Had 7 tackles (5 solo) and 1.5 sacks vs. Minnesota (11/25)…Teamed with Justin Tuck to drop Tarvaris Jackson for a 3-yard loss in the 2nd quarter…Sacked Jackson for 0 yards in the 3rd quarter.
-           Played 1 of his best games of the season at Chicago (12/2/) with 4 tackles (1 solo), 1 sack, 5 QB hurries and 1 QB hit…Dropped Rex Grossman for a 2-yard loss in the 1st quarter.
-           Robbins had 3 tackles (2 solo) in the Giants’ Super Bowl XLII victory over New England.
-           In 2006, Robbins started all 16 regular season games and the NFC Wild Card Game at defensive tackle…Finished with career-high totals of 62 tackles (39 solo), 5.5 sacks, 2 interceptions and 34 quarterback hurries.
-           Posted 5 tackles (3 solo) and 1 sack vs. Indianapolis (9/10)…Dropped Peyton Manning for a 4-yard sack in the 1st quarter…Stopped Dominick Rhodes for a 3-yard loss after a reception in the 2nd quarter.
-           Finished with 6 tackles (5 solo), 1 sack, 1 QB hurry, 1 QB hit and a fumble recovery at Tennessee (11/26)…Increased his sack total to 5.5 sack when he dropped Vince Young for a 9-yard loss in the 4th quarter…Stuffed Travis Henry for a 1-yard loss in the 2nd quarter…Recovered a Young fumble in the 2nd quarter that led to a Jacobs 4-yard touchdown run to give the Giants a 21-0 lead.
-           Contributed 2 assisted tackles and a fumble recovery at Washington (12/30)…Recovered a Ladell Betts fumble forced by Brandon Short and returned it 67 yards to the Redskins’ 12-yard line to set up Jay Feely’s 34-yard field goal that gave the Giants a 3-0 1st quarter lead.
-           In 2005, played in all 16 regular season games with 6 starts at defensive tackle…Did not play in the NFC Wild Card Game vs. Carolina (1/8) because of a hamstring injury.
-           Finished the season with 23 tackles (14 solo), 1.5 sacks, 1 pass defensed and 1 fumble recovery.
-           Replaced William Joseph when he left the game due to injury in the 1st quarter at Philadelphia (12/11) and finished with 4 tackles (3 solo) and 1.5 sacks. Split a sack of Mike McMahon in the 2nd quarter and dropped McMahon for a 6-yard loss in the 3rd quarter.
-           In his 1st season with the Giants in 2004, started all 15 games in which he played – 12 at right tackle and 1 apiece at left tackle, left end and right end in 1st season with Giants…Was inactive due to shoulder injury vs. Detroit (10/24).
-           Recorded 40 tackles (31 solo), 5 sacks, 1 interception, 2 passes defensed and 2 forced fumble.
-           Started at left defensive tackle at Cincinnati (12/26) and had 2 tackles (1 solo) and a half-sack. Split a 2-yard sack of Jon Kitna with Reggie Torbor in the 1st quarter.
-           Recorded 6 tackles (5 solo) and 2 sacks vs. Chicago (11/7). Sacked Craig Kenzel for a 7-yard loss in the 1st quarter. Picked up 2nd when he dropped Krenzel for a 4-yard loss in the 2nd quarter.
-           Finished with 3 solo tackles, 2 sacks, a forced fumble and an interception vs. Washington (9/19). Sacked Mark Brunell for a 4-yard loss and forced a fumble in the 2nd quarter. Tipped, then intercepted a screen pass from Brunell intended for Clinton Portis in the 2nd quarter. It was his 1st career interception.
-           In 2003, played in all 16 games with 12 starts for the Vikings and finished with 30 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, and 5 quarterback hurries.
-           Got the 1st fumble recovery of his career and added 2 tackles at Oakland (11/16).
-           In 2002, played in 16 games with 15 starts for the Vikings and recorded 41 tackles (23 solo). Robbins led the team with 7 tackles for loss and had a career-high 4 passes defensed.
-           Contributed 6 tackles (5 solo) and 2 tackles for loss vs. Carolina (9/22).
-           In 2001, played in 16 games with 12 starts and had 45 tackles (16 solo) and 2 sacks.
-           Started for the 1st time in his career in season opener vs. Carolina (9/9) and finished with 5 tackles, a sack, a tackle-for-loss and 2 quarterback hurries.
-           As a rookie in 2000, played in 8 games as a reserve and had 5 tackles…Picked up his 1st career sack when he tackled Shaun King at Tampa Bay (10/29).
