Transactions:  Originally a 4th round (97th pick overall) draft choice by the Giants in 2004.

NFL: A valuable and versatile member of the Giants linebacker corps who has contributed as a starter and reserve on defense and on special teams…Played in 30 games with 10 starts in his 1st 2 seasons…Will compete for a starting position in his third year.

2005:  Saw action in 14 games with 9 starts at strongside linebacker…Finished the season with 34 tackles (25 solo), 1 interception, 3 passes defensed, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery…Also finished 6th on the team with 14 special teams tackles…Was inactive for NFC Wild Card Game vs. Carolina (1/8/06) and at Oakland (12/31) with hamstring injury…Started at Washington (12/24) and had 5 tackles (4 solo)…Saw action at strongside linebacker when MLB Antonio Pierce left the game in the 1st quarter at Philadelphia (12/11). Finished with 1 solo tackle…Inactive vs. Philadelphia (11/20) after undergoing hernia surgery…Started vs. Minnesota (11/13) and finished with 3 tackles (1 solo) and 1 special teams tackle…Started at strongside linebacker and finished with a career-high 7 tackles (6 solo) at San Francisco (11/6). Also had 2 special teams tackles…Started and finished with 1 tackle, 2 special teams tackles and a forced fumble vs. Washington (10/30). Stripped Ladell Betts of the ball on the 2nd half kickoff. The ball was recovered by Willie Ponder and helped set up Jeremy Shockey’s 10-yard touchdown reception to give the Giants a 26-0 lead…Started and finished with 2 solo tackles and an interception vs. St. Louis (10/2). Tackled Steven Jackson for a 4-yard loss on the Rams’ 1st play from scrimmage. Recorded the 1st interception of his career when he picked off a Mark Bulger pass for Shaun McDonald in the 4th quarter…Started at San Diego and had 3 tackles (2 solo) at San Diego (9/25)…Started and had 3 solo tackles at New Orleans (9/19)…Started and finished with 5 tackles (4 solo) and 2 passes defensed vs. Arizona (9/11).

2004:  Played in all 16 games with 1 start, with the majority of his action coming on special teams...Recorded 21 tackles (15 solo), 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery...Finished 4th on the team in special teams tackles with 15...Played both defensive end and strongside linebacker vs. Dallas (1/2) and had 3 tackles (2 solo), a half-sack, a fumble recovery and 2 special teams tackles. Split a sack of Vinny Testaverde with Davern Williams in the 4th quarter for a 5-yard loss...Played in the nickel and dime packages at Cincinnati (12/26) and finished with 3 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a special teams tackle at Cincinnati (12/26). Split a 2-yard sack of Jon Kitna with Fred Robbins and dropped Kitna for a 6-yard loss in the 2nd quarter... Recorded his 1st career sack and had a forced fumble at Baltimore (12/12). Sacked Kyle Boller and forced a fumble that was recovered by Osi Umenyiora and returned 50 yards for a touchdown...Played defensive end and had 6 tackles and 1 forced fumble at Arizona (11/14)...Finished with team-high 3 special teams tackles vs. Detroit (12/24)...Earned 1st career start at strongside linebacker in place of injured Carlos Emmons vs. Washington (9/19) and had 2 tackles...Made NFL debut on special teams and as Emmons’ replacement at Philadelphia (9/12). Did not record a tackle.
