NFL:  Speedy, hard-hitting young player has been a valuable contributor in the Giants’ secondary…Stepped into the starting lineup and made a big contribution as a rookie before getting injured…Has started 23 of the 24 games in which he’s played.

2005:  Started all 16 regular season games and the NFC Wild Card Game at strong safety…Led the team with 110 tackles (88 solo)…Also had 2 interceptions, 3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles…Had 4 tackles (3 solo) at Oakland (12/31) and 8 solo tackles at Washington (12/24)…Finished with a team-high 12 tackles (8 solo) vs. Kansas City (12/17)…Contributed 5 tackles (4 solo), 1 sack and 2 passes defensed at Philadelphia (12/11)…Had 5 tackles (3 solo) and a pass defensed vs. Dallas (12/4). Deflected a Drew Bledsoe pass for Keyshawn Johnson that was intercepted by Brent Alexander…Recorded a team-high 8 tackles (7 solo) and an interception vs. Philadelphia (11/20). Picked off a Mike McMahon pass for L.J. Smith in the 2nd quarter…Finished with 6 tackles (4 solo) and a sack vs. Minnesota (11/13). Dropped Brad Johnson for a 9-yard loss for his 2nd sack of the season…Had 5 tackles (4 solo) and a sack at San Francisco (11/6). Earned his 1st sack of the season when he dropped Cody Pickett for a 5-yard loss on a blitz in the 2nd quarter…Had 7 tackles (4 solo) and a special teams tackles vs. Denver (10/23)…Finished with a team-high 10 solo tackles and a forced fumble at Dallas (10/16). Forced Keyshawn Johnson to fumble after a reception in the 2nd quarter…Registered a team-high 11 tackles (10 solo), 1 forced fumble and 1 special teams tackle vs. St. Louis (10/2). Forced the 1st of 5 Rams turnovers when hit Kevin Curtis after a reception to force a fumble that was recovered by Nick Greisen in the 2nd quarter…Had 6 solo tackles at San Diego (9/25) and 9 tackles (5 solo) at New Orleans (9/19)..Finished with 5 tackles (4 solo) and 1 interception in season opener vs. Arizona (9/11). Intercepted a Kurt Warner pass for Larry Fitzgerald and returned it 17 yards in the 3rd quarter.

2004: Played in 8 games with 7 starts…Tied for the team lead with 3 interceptions and recorded 55 tackles, 3 sacks, 5 passes defensed and 1 forced fumble…Was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month for October...Inactive for the final 7 games of the season due to a burner suffered at Arizona (11/14)…Started at strong safety at Arizona and finished with 7 solo tackles…Had a team-high 9 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble vs. Chicago (11/7). Recorded his 3rd sack of the season when he stripped Craig Krenzel to force a fumble that was recovered by Osi Umenyiora…Started at strong safety at Minnesota (10/31) and played a key role in a Giants defense that held the Vikings’ top-rated offense scoreless through the first 51 minutes of the game. Finished with a team-high 6 tackles (5 solo) and an interception. Intercepted his 3rd pass of the season when he picked off a Daunte Culpepper throw to Jermaine Wiggins in the 1st quarter. Returned the interception 39 yards to set up a drive that resulted in Tiki Barber’s 5-yard touchdown run…Led the team with 12 tackles (10 solo) and a pass defensed at Green Bay (10/3)…Made his 1st NFL start at strong safety in place of the injured Shaun Williams vs. Cleveland (9/26). Had a team-high 8 tackles (7 solo) and picked up his 2nd interception. Picked off a Jeff Garcia pass for WR Andre Davis in the end zone to conclude the 1st half…Saw action on special teams and in dime packages vs. Washington (9/19) and finished with 1 solo tackle, 1 interception, 2 passes defensed and a special teams tackle. Intercepted Patrick Ramsey’s pass for Laveranues Coles in the 4th quarter.…Nearly intercepted Ramsey attempt for RB Clinton Portis on fourth-and-four to end a Redskins drive late in fourth quarter…Inactive for the season opener at Philadelphia (9/12).
