As a part of the foundation’s inaugural event, it raised $5,000 for Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence in San Jose, Calif., and the Born Again Ministries, located in Draughn’s hometown of Tarboro, NC…Grew up in a musical family and sang in the choir when he was younger…At the age of 17, his parents bought him his first guitar, a red Peavey Raptor with a box amp.
