Scott played in 41 games with 29 starts at Maryland…Career totals include 430 carries for 2,401 yards (5.6-yard avg.) and 17 touchdowns…He was just the 10th player in Maryland history to rush for over 2,000 yards in a career and he ranks 7th on the Terps’ all-time list with his 2,401 yards…Also ranks 7th on the single-season list with 1,133 yards rushing in 2008…His 200 rushing yards vs. East Carolina at the 2010 Military Bowl set the school bowl game record, topping his own mark of 174 yards vs. Nevada at the 2008 Humanitarian Bowl…Scott became the 16th player in Maryland annals to rush for at least 200 yards in a game…His average of 5.58 yards per rushing attempt is topped only by Chet Hanulak (8.13-yard avg. from 1951-53) on Maryland’s career list…Ran for more than 100 yards in 8 games as a Terrapin, the 4th-best total in school history…Also caught 48 passes for 509 yards and 4 touchdowns…Returned 28 kickoffs for 599 yards (21.4-yard avg.) and he completed 2-of-3 passes for 13 yards and 2 touchdowns…Ranks 8th in school history with 3,509 all-purpose yards…Is just 1 of 4 players in school history with both 2,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards (also LaMont Jordan, Rick Badjanek and Alvin Blount).

Third-team All-ACC by The NFL Draft Report…Named Military Bowl Most Valuable Player after setting the school postseason rushing yardage record with 200 yards vs. East Carolina…Shared tailback duties with Davin Meggett, but started all 13 games…Carried 122 times for 708 yards (5.8-yard avg.) and 5 touchdowns...Ran for over 100 yards twice (Florida International and East Carolina)…Had 14 receptions for 170 yards and 3 scores…Added 33 yards on a pair of kickoff returns and also threw a 4-yard touchdown pass vs. Clemson…Ranked 2nd on the team with 911 all-purpose yards…Opened the season with 58 yards on 10 carries vs. Navy. Scott scored the team’s first touchdown on a 5-yard run…Ran for 103 yards and a pair of scores on 15 attempts vs. Florida International…Ran for 50 yards on 14 carries and scored on a 71-yard catch-and run vs. Duke…Scott threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to quarterback Danny O'Brien for Maryland's only score vs. Clemson…Rushed for a career-high and Maryland bowl-record 200 yards, including touchdown runs of 61-yards and a Terps postseason-record 91-yarder, vs. East Carolina in the Military Bowl.

2009 SEASON

A consensus All-ACC preseason selection, Scott was limited to 7 games and 5 starts due to a series of injuries…He broke his radius, a bone in the forearm that extends to the thumb side of the wrist, vs. Clemson. After missing 5 games, he returned for the final 2 games wearing a flexible cast…Scott shared running back duties with Davin Meggett and totaled 425 yards and 4 touchdowns on 85 carries…Added 12 receptions for 111 yards to finish with 536 all-purpose yards…In the season opener at California, Scott carried 13 times for 90 yards, including a 39-yard touchdown… The following week, Scott had 17 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown vs. James Madison…Ran for 117 yards and 2 scores, including a 48-yarder, on 13 attempts vs. Middle Tennessee…Returned after missing 5 games with a broken wrist vs. Florida State and rushed for 83 yards on 19 carries and caught 2 passes for 21 yards.

2008 SEASON

Named 1st-team All-ACC from the Associated Press and the league’s media…Played in 12 games with 11 starts, sitting out the Eastern Michigan game with a shoulder sprain…Led the team and ranked 2nd in the ACC with 209 carries for 1,133 yards (the 7th-highest total in Maryland history) and 8 touchdowns…Caught 21 passes for 171 yards and completed 1-of-2 passes that included a 9-yard score vs. Wake Forest…Ran for over 100 yards 5 times and was named the Terps’ Most Improved Offensive Player after the season…Scott ran for 197 yards vs. Delaware in his 1st career start…Followed with 123 yards vs. Middle Tennessee. Scored his 1st career touchdown on a 63-yard run on the 2nd play of the game…Carried 18 times for 73 yards and threw a 9-yard touchdown pass vs. Wake Forest…Finished with 163 yards on 23 carries for 163 yards and a 24-yard touchdown vs. North Carolina State…Ran for 129 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown, vs. North Carolina…Despite missing the 1st half because of a suspension, Scott rushed for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns and was named the team’s MVP in a Humanitarian Bowl victory vs. Nevada. The 174 yards broke the school record for rushing yards in a bowl game previously set by Lu Gambino in the 1948 Gator Bowl. Scott also became just the 7th Maryland player to surpass the 1,000-yard single-season rushing benchmark.

2007 SEASON

Played in 9 games and was named to the Freshman All-ACC team…Rushed for 135 yards on 14 attempts (9.6-yards avg.) and caught 1 pass for a 57-yard score…Returned 26 kickoffs for 566 yards (21.8-yard avg.) and amassed 758 all-purpose yards, an average of 84.2 per game…Missed the first 3 games of the season due to an ankle injury….Made his debut vs. Wake Forest on kickoffs with four returns for 101 yards, including a 39-yarder...Rushed 3 times for 29 yards vs. Rutgers...Caught a screen pass and took it 57 yards for a touchdown on his first career reception vs. Boston College...Had a season-high 149 all-purpose yards vs. Florida State, as he returned four kickoffs for 132 yards, including a career-long 60-yard runback…Rushed for a season-high 89 rushing yards on 8 carries vs. North Carolina State.

Attended Plymouth-Whitemarsh in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., where he was a 4-year letter-winner in football, track, and basketball…Earned All-Region honors from Super Prep and was the recipient of the Maxwell Award, given to the Conference Player of the Year as a junior and senior…Chosen All-State by the Associated Press as a senior and named Area Player of the Year by the Times-Herald…Chosen to play in the Big 33 All-Star game…Started his final 3 seasons as a tailback and safety…Rushed for over 1,200 yards as a junior, averaging 8.5 yards per carry while catching 24 passes for 460 yards…As a senior, he ran 232 times for 2,523 yards (10.9-yard avg.) and 38 touchdowns…Guided his team to an 8-3 record en route to winning the league championship…Lettered 4 years in track (sprints), winning the state titles in the 100 meters as a junior with a time of 10.56…Also clocked 21.89 in the 200 meters…Competed as a guard for the school’s basketball team.
