- Walton started all 36 games played in 3 seasons at Baylor, where he earned 1st-team All-America honors as a senior to become the school’s 1st offensive or defensive player in 18 seasons to achieve that distinction... Named 1 of 6 finalists for the Rimington Trophy (nation’s best center) in 2009 and was named to the Big 12 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 3rd consecutive year...Transferred to Baylor from Arizona State, where he redshirted as a true freshman in 2005.
