Biography

Christopher A. Watts is in his second season as a Giants scout after spending the previous nine seasons as the team’s scout in the BLESTO scouting combine. He was first affiliated with the team as a training camp intern in 2005.

Before joining the Giants, Watts spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coaching the offensive line at Langston University in Oklahoma. From 1998-04, Watts worked in the corporate world. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration-management in 1998 and a master’s degree in education in 2006, both from Langston.

Watts attended Langston on a football scholarship and earned four letters as an offensive lineman. He was elected a first team NAIA All-America and an Oklahoma Intercollegiate Conference (OIC) first team tackle in 1996. Watts, who threw the shot put, also lettered once on the track team. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Watts is a graduate of M.B. Smiley High School in Houston, where he lettered four times in football, twice in track, and once in baseball. He was an All-District 21-5A honorable mention as a tackle in 1994.

Watts is married to the former Myeshia Jones of Pauls Valley, Okla. He has two daughters, Carrington and Maleigha, and a son, Chris, Jr.
