Team News

The New York Giants wrap up the season against the Washington Redskins for the second year in a row. Last season, they eliminated Washington from playoff contention on New Year’s Day at FedEx Field with a 19-10 victory. The Giants have faced the Redskins 169 times in the regular season since their first game in 1932, making this their most frequently-contested rivalry. The Giants lead 98-67-4 in the regular season. They have split two games in the postseason, with the Giants winning the 1986 NFC Championship Game en route to their first Super Bowl title in franchise history. The Giants are 5-2 vs. Washington at MetLife Stadium.

Parking and Traffic Update

Parking for Guests without Pre-Paid Permits

Guests without prepaid permits may park at the off-site lot located at 20 Murray Hill Parkway, East Rutherford, NJ 07073 for $40. Shuttle bus service will be provided to and from MetLife Stadium.

Port Authority Bus Terminal – Gate Changes

The Port Authority Bus Terminal initiated gate changes, effective September 8, to improve efficiency and service reliability.  Changes may affect NFL game day travel. For all weekend NFL games, Gates 410, 411, 412 and 413 at the Port Authority of New York will now be used for the 351 Bus Service.

For Weekday games, Gate X will be the designated area.

Metro-North Railroad

Riders from Connecticut can no longer take direct Meadowlands Football service from New Haven, CT and intermediate stations on the New Haven line through Penn Station to Secaucus.  Guests should visit MTA Metro-North Railroad's website or call the MNRR Travel Information line at 212-532-4900 for information on schedules and service locations.



Outside the Gates

Bud Light Beer Garden

The Bud Light Beer Garden, located outside of the MetLife and Verizon gates, will feature $5 Budweiser draft beers and great music from 11:00 a.m. until kickoff.  Super Bowl Champion Stephen Baker* will sign autographs for fans from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. *Player appearances subject to change

New Jersey Attorney General’s Office

Stop by the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office booth on the island outside the MetLife and Verizon gates to learn how Insurance Fraud costs the average New Jersey resident $1,300 every year! While you are there, take a picture with their sidewalk chalk that looks like you are actually standing on a cliff!

MetLife Gate

The MetLife Gate is a fun-filled fan destination on game day at MetLife Stadium.  Fans can participate in the following activities:

    • Join us at the MetLife Gate stage this Sunday for your chance to meet and receive an autograph from Giants Legend Phillippi Sparks*.  Sparks will sign autographs and take pictures from 11:15 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.

SAP Plaza

Come inside the SAP Gate to get a behind-the-scenes preview of Sunday’s matchup between the Giants and the Redskins. This year, instead of focusing on statistics for the players in the game, SAP is going out into the parking lots to ask fans for their “Winning Insight” for the game that week. The three best “Winning Insights” will be selected to be part of the show on the plaza and played on SAP’s massive video board. Giants entertainment personality Paul Dottino and Giants Legend Plaxico Burress* will be onstage analyzing these “Winning Insights” while providing their own critique and opinions. The show will take place from 12:00 p.m. until kickoff. Burress will sign autographs for the last 15 minutes of the show.

Toyota

Check out the latest Toyota models at the Toyota Car display and compete for a chance to win a memorable gameday experience, courtesy of Toyota!  Fans can test their packing skills as they try to fit as many boxes into a Toyota Sienna.   

Verizon Plaza

Visit the Verizon Fan Zone on the plaza inside the Verizon Gate to check out what special offers Verizon has for Giants fans! Don’t forget to stop by the new Verizon Up Club on the 100-level concourse where Verizon customers can charge their phones and sign up for the Verizon Up rewards program and take advantage of the opportunity to win special prizes.

Giants Pregame Radio Show on WFAN

Come visit the Giants pregame radio show on WFAN at the MetLife Stage.  The show begins at 11:30 a.m.  Host Lance Medow will get Giants fans ready for all the action with an in-depth preview of the game.

Giants Legacy Club Presented by NewYork-Presbyterian

Make sure you take time to visit the New York Giants Legacy Club Presented by NewYork-Presbyterian.  This team museum is located on the 100 Level Concourse nearest Section 144, just above the MetLife Gate.  The Legacy Club is open to all fans, beginning when the stadium gates open through halftime of each Giants home game.  Giants fans can re-live the most memorable moments and view artifacts from throughout the team’s 93-year history.  Busts of the team’s most celebrated players and personalities are displayed, along with each of the team’s Super Bowl trophies and rings.  It’s a must-see exhibit for fans of all ages!

HackensackUMC Fitness and Wellness

National Anthem

On Sunday, Angelica Salem will perform the national anthem.  Salem is a Pace University Honor Student who is pursuing her dream of being on a stage. She has been studying vocals, acting and dance since a young age. Angelica has had the pleasure of working with award-winning recording artist and producer Wyclef Jean and has released original songs and music videos of her own, including "Drop A House".  

Color Guard

The Summit Police Department will present the colors prior to Sunday's game.

Giants Mercedes-Benz Postgame Live Broadcast from the MetLife Gate

Watch the New York Giants live television broadcast beginning immediately following the conclusion of the game.  Bob Papa and Giants Legends Shaun O’Hara and Amani Toomer will host and break down the game.                          

The Uber Zone at MetLife Stadium

The Giants and Uber have teamed up to help make getting home from MetLife Stadium easier than ever!

Here are some pro tips to get you home with ease:

1. Select your ride

Once you exit MetLife Stadium, open your Uber app and set your drop-off location. You’ll see a guaranteed up-front fare displayed in the app before you request. Select your preferred ride option on the slider at the bottom of your screen.

2. Head to the Uber Zone located in Lot E

Once you request your ride, head directly to the Uber Zone, located in Lot E outside of the Verizon gate. Your driver will meet you there.

3. Locate your driver

Once your driver has arrived in Lot E, he or she will call/text you to let you know in which row they are parked. If you are having trouble connecting with your driver, you can call/text him or her.



Gameday Features & Reminders

Text Messaging for Assistance

On game day, if you wish to report issues or concerns or ask for information or assistance in a fast, easy and convenient way, you may do so by texting the MetLife Stadium Command Center by using the GuestAssist text message service. Guests should address the text message to 78247, type the word GIANTS followed by a space, the request and location. MetLife Stadium Parking staff, Safety Services team members and/or New Jersey State Police will respond, as appropriate.

Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver Program

Help us beat the Redskins! The Giants are competing against the Washington Redskins in a season-long, head-to-head Designated Driver Challenge.  Be a responsible Giants fan, and plan ahead to have safe transportation to and from every game.

Giants fans who are 21 years of age or older can pledge to be a designated driver at the Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver booths, which are located at each entry gate, as well as all Guest Services booths in MetLife Stadium.  Those who sign up will receive a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage voucher and a chance to win great prizes, including a chance to be the Designated Driver of the Game, game tickets and a trip to the Super Bowl or Pro Bowl.  When you enjoy alcohol responsibly and make a designated driver part of your game plan, everyone wins!

If you are 21 or older, make your pledge at a Good Sport booth at each game for the remainder of the season. You will help the team earn six challenge points and ensure your friends get home safely.  For more details, click here.
