Q:How is Ahmad Bradshaw?

A: He had a knee in the back from the game and he is still sore. He really can't do what he has to do so they held him again.

Q: Is it a concern?

A: No it is not.

Q:Will he play Saturday?

A: I don't know the answer to that one. We will see.

Q:How long will the starters play Saturday?

A: They will go a half. There will be a play number on it as well, 30-35, but basically it will be a half. A few may go beyond a little bit.

Q:How will the weather affect how much they will play?

A: We will see how bad it is.

Q:How did Brian Williams look?

A: He looked ok. He moved around well and seemed to pick it up good.

Q:Do you think he will play Saturday?

A: I hope to play him. I wouldn't say much but he needs to play. * *

Q:Do you see Antrel playing corner?

A: He can play down there in a sub package.

Q:Is Andre Brown hurt?

A: He is sick in the training room.

Q: How would you view your punting competition?

A: I like the competition. It has been very competitive and both guys have done quite well.

Q: Is it closer then you expected?

A: Not necessarily but it is very competitive and very good.

Q: Is there a leader?

A: No I wouldn't speculate on that just now.

Q: Talk about your relationship with Rex Ryan?

A: Rex and I really haven't had a lot of opportunities to be together in each other's company but when we do it is fine and we enjoy each other's company or at least I enjoy him. We did something a couple years a go, a benefit, and I had a good time doing it. He is a friendly and enjoyable guy.

Q:Do you remember how spirited the game was last year, which was the first preseason game. Are you surprised at the chippiness between the Giants and Jets in the preseason?

A: I don't remember how the game was but it does not surprise me. They are highly competitive teams that play in the same city so it doesn't surprise me.

Q: How do you feel about the receivers this year?

A: We have work to do. There were some nice plays made today, which was a good thing, but we are getting there little by little.

Q: What have you liked from Cruz?

A:  He has caught the ball, more in practice than in the games, obviously, and he is very quick. He has demonstrated that again and he has caught the ball in some difficult spots.

Q: What happened in the game when he got yelled at?

A: It wasn't that he ran the wrong route it was the details and how the route needs to be run and the depth it needs to be run at. It is a constant sense of urgency in not only what you think you are supposed to do but how you are supposed to do it. How you are supposed to adjust it and it is just not for him, it is for everybody, not just Victor. The specifics, the details, the absolute part of it so that there is no hesitation on the part of the quarterback.

Q: Does it take awhile for a guy to understand?

A: I'm sure it can.

Q:How about Manningham?

A: He has been pretty precise in what he has done in the past. I would like to see a little more production out of him in the preseason.

Q:Do you have a plan if the hurricane and weather gets bad?

A: I have had my head in the sand for the past two days so I really don't know what the possibilities are. I started hearing the reports on the potential weather so I'm sure tomorrow, when I have a little more time, I can catch up on that and see what people are talking about.

Q:What quarterbacks will play?

A: Carr will play and maybe Ryan. Sage won't play.

Q: Will Lawernce Tynes kick?

A: No.

Q: How far away do you think he is?

A: He is making progress but he has a little ways to go.

Q: What is his status for the season opener?

A: Depends on how he does this next week.

Q: What about Duke Calhoun?

A: He has a little tightness in his hamstring.
