The New York Giants announced their 2022 uniform schedule.
This year's schedule includes a return to the classic blue uniforms from the '80s and '90s for two “Legacy Games." The Giants will be wearing their all-white Color Rush uniforms when they host the Dallas Cowboys on September 26 for Monday Night Football.
The classic uniform will be worn for two "Legacy Games" - presented by Quest - on Oct. 2 vs. Chicago and Dec. 4 vs. Washington, both games at MetLife Stadium.
Starting at the top, the uniform look features the return of the navy helmet with white facemask and solid scarlet red stripe, classic numbers, side decals, and a raised wordmark – all reminiscent of the '80s and '90s style. The red and blue trim on the jerseys and pants are all in the color palette from that era. The Giants also accented the inside of the jersey collar with the timeless words of Wellington Mara: "Once a Giant, Always a Giant."
The Giants Color Rush uniform consists of white jerseys and pants with blue and red stripes, a "GIANTS" helmet decal instead of the familiar "ny" and white facemasks replacing the customary gray.
The Giants will don their primary blue jerseys with white pants for all other home games and when they travel to Dallas for a Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Cowboys on November 24.
For all other road games, the team will wear their road white jerseys paired with white pants featuring red stripes down the sides of the legs. The new white road pants were introduced for the 2021 season.
