Steven Price, who has 17 years of NFL experience, is in his second season with the Giants. Price evaluates the Giants' opponents and NFL players, including free agents.
Price came to the Giants after serving a three-year stint as a pro scout with the Houston Texans. Prior to joining the Texans, he spent eight seasons with the Minnesota Vikings' personnel department. Price worked as a college area scout in 2017, when he evaluated draft eligible prospects in the northeast region. From 2012-16, Price served as a BLESTO scout covering the Midwest region. He originally joined the Vikings as a personnel intern for the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
Price began his NFL career when he worked in the Carolina Panthers' equipment room from 2002-05. In 2007, he interned in the Panthers public relations department. Price joined the Vikings for the 2008 season as an operations intern before attending graduate school. With the Vikings, Price assisted the player development department aiding rookies in their transition to the NFL and preparing players for life after football.
A Charlotte, N.C. native, Price graduated from North Carolina A&T with a bachelor's degree in speech communication in 2007. Between stints with the Panthers and Vikings, Price returned to school in 2009-10 and received his MBA in sports management from San Diego State University.
Price and his wife, Sara, have a daughter, Monroe, and a son Marlo.
