The Giants signed defensive end Jordan Williams off the practice squad:

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - The Giants today added the second defensive end to their active roster in as many days when they signed Jordan Williams off their practice squad.

Williams fills the vacancy on the roster that was created yesterday when cornerback Janoris Jenkins was suspended indefinitely. Williams joins Devin Taylor, who was re-signed after the Giants returned from their bye week, as new defensive ends who will be available for the team's return to action Sunday at home against the Los Angeles Rams. Taylor was signed when defensive end Cap Capi was placed on injured reserve.

Williams, 6-4 and 272 pounds, was signed by the Giants on Jan. 9, waived on Sept. 2, and signed to the practice squad the following day. He had six solo tackles, including a nine-yard sack, in the preseason.

The University of Tennessee product entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Jets in 2015. That season, he spent time on the practice squads of both the Jets and Miami Dolphins. He played in his only regular-season game for Miami against Baltimore on Dec. 6, 2015. Last year, Williams did two separate stints on the Dolphins' practice squad.

The Giants also re-signed wide receiver Kalif Raymond to their practice squad. Raymond's practice squad contract had been terminated yesterday.
