The PFWA announced its 2017 All-Rookie Team on Tuesday, and the Giants were one of five clubs with multiple selections – tight end Evan Engram and defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson.

The Saints led all clubs with four All-Rookie selections, including Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year Alvin Kamara and Defensive Rookie of the Year Marshon Lattimore. The Giants, Chiefs, Lions and Steelers had two player named, while 21 clubs in all were represented among 28 players honored.

Engram, the Giants' first-round pick from Ole Miss, led all NFL rookie tight ends in receptions (64), yards (722), first downs (37) and 20-yard plays (11). His six touchdowns, which were tied with Tampa Bay's O.J. Howard for first, broke Bob Tucker's franchise record for rookie tight ends, a mark that had held up since 1970.

Tomlinson, the second-rounder out of Alabama, led all rookie defensive linemen with 50 tackles, nine more than San Francisco's Solomon Thomas, who was the third overall pick in the draft.

"It was definitely good to come in and make an impact and make plays and try to come in and compete and be a force, but it was definitely tough losing," Engram said following the team's 3-13 finish. "It was definitely tough going through a lot of the hardships that we went through, but it was definitely a good year learning this year and I had fun.

"The only way is to go up from here. I'm definitely really excited about getting to work, getting better. There's so much I can get better at, I already know what I'm going to work on. I'm really just anxious to get back, get ready to go to work and turn this thing around."
