Experts make their final prediction with Round 1 of the NFL Draft set for tonight:

Pencils down. Time to turn in final mock drafts.

With the 2018 NFL Draft finally here, we look at the last-minute projections from draft analysts across the sports world. Here is a peak at how each sees the top five playing out, including the Giants with the second overall pick:

Pick: Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
Top 5 (in order): QB Sam Darnold, Barkley, QB Baker Mayfield, DE Bradley Chubb, G Quenton Nelson
Analysis: "I'm talking 6-foot, 233 pounds, he ran a 4.4-second 40-yard dash. He's special. He makes it easier for Eli Manning, and he buys some time to develop that offensive line. I think he's the best player in the draft. He's a generational running back."

Pick: Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
Top 5: Darnold, Barkley, QB Josh Rosen, Chubb, Mayfield
Analysis: "Just seems logical. No inside dope here—though I did hear Sunday that Darnold is the Giants' guy if they choose a quarterback. Gettleman did draft Christian McCaffrey eighth overall last year for the runner-needy Panthers. The Giants haven't had a great back in 12 years, since Tiki Barber retired. The consistency of Barkley—three straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons at a high level of competition, rushing averages of 5.9, 5.5 and 5.9 yards per rush—has to attract the Giants, as would the thought of Barkley, Odell Beckham, Sterling Shepard, Evan Engram and left tackle Nate Solder to take the pressure off 37-year-old Eli Manning."

Pick: Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
Top 5: Darnold, Barkley, Mayfield, Chubb, QB Josh Allen
Analysis: "This is going to be a tough choice for the Giants, but Barkley is the top player in this draft and a generational talent. Odell Beckham Jr., Evan Engram and Barkley are an explosive set of weapons for QB Eli Manning."

Pick: Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
Top 5: Mayfield, Barkley, Darnold, Chubb, Allen
Analysis: "We can't ignore the Barkley buzz. The Giants love him."

Pick: Saquon Barkley - RB, Penn State
Top 5: Mayfield, Barkley, Darnold, Allen, Nelson
Analysis: "I won't be surprised if the Giants trade out of this spot, but if they stay, Barkley provides them with an instant-impact player."

Pick: Bradley Chubb, DE, N.C. State
Top 5: Darnold, Chubb, Rosen, Barkley, CB Denzel Ward
Analysis: "The G-Men add the best "big man" in the draft when they pick Chubb to replace Jason Pierre-Paul on the edge."

Pick: Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
Top 5: Darnold, Barkley, Mayfield, Chubb, Rosen
Analysis: "So many options for the Giants, and a case can be made for all -- QB? OL? RB? Edge rusher? The Giants stick at two, and take the best player in the draft."

Pick: Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
Top 5: Darnold, Barkley, Rosen, Chubb, Allen
Analysis: "The Giants believe Eli Manning can still play well. They give him a chance to do that with the signing of LT Nate Solder and selection of Barkley."

Pick: Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
Top 5: Darnold, Barkley, Mayfield, Chubb, Ward
Analysis: "General manager Dave Gettleman is looking for "impact" with this pick and has a draft history of targeting skill players on offense and front-seven disruptors. Penn State's Saquon Barkley and NC State's Bradley Chubb are both in play with this pick."

Pick: Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
Top 5: Darnold, Barkley, Mayfield, Chubb, Nelson
Analysis: "General manager Dave Gettlemen signaled the direction the Giants might be going with this pick back in March when he awarded former Patriots Pro Bowl left tackle Nate Solder a four-year $62 million contract, including $35 million guaranteed, the biggest deal for an NFL offensive lineman. That's why immediate impact prospects like Barkley (or N.C. State's Bradley Chubb) ultimately make more sense than drafting a quarterback to groom behind Eli Manning. Add Barkley to a unit that already features Odell Beckham Jr., Evan Engram and Sterling Shepard, and the Giants suddenly have the playmakers to compete with any offense in the NFL."

Pick: Sam Darnold, QB, Southern California
Top 5: Allen, Darnold, Mayfield, Chubb, Rosen
Analysis: "Do I think Giants GM Dave Gettleman is a no-nonsense "old-school football guy?" Yes. But if anything, I think his experience lends itself to the acknowledgement of and participation in lying season. Gettleman has seemed to have no interest in a quarterback. However, he can't pass on Darnold here, even with an assortment of phone calls asking for a trade."

Pick: Sam Darnold, QB, Southern California
Top 5: Allen, Darnold, Rosen, Mayfield, Chubb
Analysis: "The Giants land their quarterback at No. 2 with Darnold, who will be prepped to take over for Eli Manning in 2019. Considered the most pro-ready QB prospect in the draft by many, Darnold could also take the field in the second half of his rookie year if the Giants are going nowhere."

Pick: Sam Darnold, QB, Southern California
Top 5: Allen, Darnold, Mayfield, Rosen, Chubb
Analysis: "They need to find the successor to Eli Manning, so they take the quarterback most have ranked as the best in the draft."

Pick: Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
Top 5: Darnold, Barkley, Rosen, Chubb, Mayfield
Analysis: "Dave Gettleman didn't make any bones about taking Christian McCaffrey at the No. 8 pick and he won't make any bones about taking Barkley with the No. 2 pick if he thinks it can help his offense."
