BRACKET CHALLENGE: Homer Jones vs. Tiki Barber

BRACKET CHALLENGE: Homer Jones vs. Tiki Barber

WR Homer Jones, 1967
Stats: 49 REC, 1,209 YDS, 13 TD; 46-YD RUSH TD

Holding any record for a franchise embarking on its 95th season is special. Maintaining it through the modern era is downright incredible. Homer Jones, a 20th-round draft selection, caught 13 touchdowns in 1967. No Giant has ever caught more. Odell Beckham Jr. tied it in 2015, but did not break it. Jones racked up 1,209 yards on just 49 catches for an astounding 24.7-yard average.

RB Tiki Barber, 2005
Stats: 2,390 SCRIMMAGE YDS, 11 TOTAL TD

There have been only four seasons in which a Giants player racked up 2,000 yards from scrimmage, and Tiki Barber accounts for three of them (Saquon Barkley has the other). Barber did it in three consecutive seasons from 2004-06, with a franchise-record 2,390 in the middle of that span. Averaging 149.4 scrimmage yards per game, he finished the season with 357 carries for 1,860 (both also franchise records), and 54 catches for 530 yards.
