Which team will present the biggest challenge in 2013 and why?**
Michael Eisen:The Washington Redskins. Based on the results of the 2012 season – when they won the NFC East title – the Redskins are a team on the rise. They have a dynamic second-year quarterback in Robert Griffin III and a roster filled with good young players. The division title could well be decided when the Giants and Redskins square off twice in the season's last month –December 1 in a night game in Washington and the final game on Dec. 29 in MetLife Stadium.
John Schmeelk:This is a tough question. It could be the Eagles, since no one really knows what Chip Kelly's offense is going to be like. Maybe it will be the Redskins since no one has been able to figure out the zone read option with Robert Griffin III. If the Cowboys figure out their defensive problems with Monte Kiffin they could be a bear to handle. The Broncos led by Peyton Manning were one of the best teams in the league last year. The Seahawks are a young and up and coming team, but they aren't as strong away from home. Green Bay still has Aaron Rodgers and a dynamic passing game. I'm going to go with Denver because Peyton Manning is their quarterback, they have one of the best defensive players in the league in Von Miller and are strong on both sides of the ball. It's important to note the Giants get Denver, Seattle, and Green Bay all at home, making those games somewhat less daunting.
Dan Salomone:I was tempted to go with the Broncos because of Peyton Manning's success against the Giants and their talented defense, but it's early in the season and out of the conference. So I'm going to stay in the division and say the Washington Redskins – not because I think they're the best team on the schedule, but the fact that Giants have to go through them twice in the final five weeks presents the biggest challenge to clinch the division or a playoff berth. The NFC East title has come down the wire in recent years, and you don't want to deal with the Redskins' rushing attack when it's crunch time in the cold.  Â
