2018 Bracket Challenge: Antonio Pierce vs. Victor Cruz

2018 Bracket Challenge: Antonio Pierce vs. Victor Cruz

LB Antonio Pierce

Years with NYG: 2005-09

One of the smartest players ever to wear a Giants uniform, Pierce is part of the franchise's rich tradition at linebacker. He led a top-10 defense in 2007 and a top-five unit in 2008. In their 2007 title run, his defense never allowed more than 20 points in four postseason games, including limiting the record-setting Patriots offense to just 14 points in Super Bowl XLII.

VS.

WR Victor Cruz

Years with NYG: 2010-2016

Signed as an undrafted free agent out of UMass after an impressive preseason in 2010, Cruz burst onto the scene a year later and was the catalyst in the Giants' Super Bowl XLVI championship run. In 2011, Cruz set the franchise record for most receiving yards in a season with 1,536 – 99 of which came on one late-season touchdown against the Jets that sparked the Giants' playoff run. Cruz, who had two 1,000-yard seasons and came two yards shy of a third, is 10th in franchise history with 4,549 receiving yards.
