Backups stepped up in 2012

In the Giants' victory over the Carolina Panthers last season, the supporting cast became the stars at Bank of America Stadium.

Partly due to injuries, opportunities opened up for players like running back Andre Brown (recorded his first and only 100-yard game), safety Stevie Brown (interception return for 44 yards), cornerback Jayron Hosley (one interception), and wide receiver Ramses Barden (138 yards).

Those players stepped up and led their respective units en route to a 36-7 victory in Charlotte.

That leads us to our Morning Debate:

Who needs to step up against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday for the Giants to get their first win?
