Running back Cam Skattebo has been nominated for Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week following his performance in Dallas.
Skattebo led the backfield with 13 total touches (11 rushes, two receptions), which he turned into 59 yards (45 rushing, 14 receiving) and the first touchdown of his NFL career.
The 23-year-old averaged 4.1 yards per carry while picking up three first downs. He averaged 3.18 yards after contact per attempt, according to Pro Football Focus, and forced three missed tackles.
The rookie also made a couple of eye-opening plays last week against the Commanders in his NFL debut, including a catch-and-run where he powered through two defenders. Good Morning Football recognized the fourth-round draft pick, bestowing him with the "Angry Runs" scepter for Week 1.
The other players nominated for the Week 2 Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week include:
- Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten - 74 scrimmage yards (42 rushing, 32 receiving) and one receiving touchdown
- Titans WR Elic Ayomanor - Caught four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown
- Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan - Caught six passes for 100 yards
- Eagles S Andrew Mukuba - Registered six tackles, 0.5 sacks and an interception
- Colts TE Tyler Warren - Caught four passes for 79 yards

After the regular season, six players will be nominated for the Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Years honor. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January.
