Q: How close are you to playing?
A: I was pretty limited the week before but this week I have been getting a lot of reps with the first team and with the scout team, helping out like that.Q: Do you think that you are closer to playing?
A: This week is looking more promising than last week, if that is what you are asking me.
Q: How many snaps do you think you can play in a game right now?
A: I am not sure. I think the defense is averaging like 60 snaps and I have been getting more than 60 snaps at practice, including special teams, scout team and going with the first team defense so I am definitely prepared for it and to go 60 snaps.
Q: Has there been any aftereffects?
A: Of course, I am going to feel sore but there is no pain.
Q: If they wanted you to play 40 snaps, can you do it?
A: I don't know the future so I can't tell.
Q: Do you think any aftereffects will keep you out the next game?
A: I am not sure. All I can say is that I get sore after practice but I go to practice the next day.
Q: When you say sore are you talking about your foot or your body?
A: All of the above.
Q: What have you shown them now?
A: Just consistency and the ability to finish practice and more burst to the ball. Stuff like that.
Q: Have you been told that you will be playing or is that something still to be determined?
A: I still think that is a game time decision but I have been getting more reps. I am sure they wouldn't waste reps on anybody. I would just say that it is more promising this week.
Q: What is your anticipation like going into this week?
A: I am just practicing and preparing like I am going to be playing this week. It really is looking promising this week so I am excited.
