Daily Blitz - Mar. 26: NYG top power rankings

It's going to be tough to play the underdog card again this season.

After feeding off the backs-against-the-wall mentality that propelled them to a Super Bowl victory, the Giants now take a different path this year as the team to beat. ESPN released its latest pre-draft power ranking, and the defending champions top the list at No. 1.

Sitting behind them at No. 2 and No. 3 are two teams they beat in the playoffs – the Patriots and the Packers.

It's a big leap from a year ago when the Giants came in at No. 11. And even in the playoffs, Big Blue entered the postseason at No. 9 and went on to beat Atlanta (then No.7), Green Bay (No. 1), San Francisco (No. 3), and New England (No. 4).

So take the rankings for what they're worth and let us know what you think in the comments section below. But first, here's a look at the rest of the NFC East as ESPN sees it.

**No. 1 – New York Giants
No. 12 – Philadelphia Eagles
No. 14 – Dallas Cowboys
No. 25 – Washington Redskins
