DE Adewale Ojomo

**

Q: Quite the honor to be the sacks leader for the Giants right now: **

A: Yes, sir.

Q: How have things been progressing for you?
A: I'm just taking it day-by-day, learning from Osi, Pierre-Paul, and Tuck. Just absorbing the knowledge.

Q: Thoughts on the defensive line guys sharing tips with one another:
A: Yeah, these are some real good guys. Just watching them on film, they give you little tips. Pretty much gives you an edge on everybody else because this is one of the best defensive lines in the NFL.

Q: Are you pleased/surprised with how well things have been working for you in games?
A: No, haven't really been surprised. I just believe in myself, believe in the coaching that I'm getting from coach Robert Nunn, what I'm getting from these guys, that's it. I wouldn't be surprised if I went out and had a couple more sacks this game. It's not surprising to me.

Q: Have you refined your moves a lot since you've been here?
A: I've been working with Tuck. It's a lot of technique that goes into it; just working with those guys I came a long way.

Q: Probably had an education in how much technique is involved right?
A: Yep. Just sit down with those guys.

Q: Does it seem to be a lot more even at this level, and the technique is what separates it?
A: Yep. You have to be athletic, and you have to have technique also.

Q: What's the biggest thing you picked up from these guys?
A: The mentality you have to have. When to be aggressive, when not to be aggressive, use certain moves in certain situations. It's a combination of a lot of different things that go into play.

Q: Has your mindset changed at all?
A: No, not at all. I'm still hungry; I'm still working, still very ambitious.

Q: Were you skeptical about coming here due to the talent on the defensive line?
A: One thing I never do is I never look at the roster. I never count the amount of guys in the defensive line room. I never do that. I always pay attention to me. I know once I get me straight, I'll be ok.

Q: Do you feel like you're "straight" right now?
A: Nope. I don't feel like I'm straight, I need to keep working. I feel like I need to be consistent.

Q: Is it difficult ignoring the numbers?
A: Well I mean, once you start noticing those numbers, and paying attention to those kinds of things, that's when your production goes down, and things don't go right for you. You just ignore them and keep going. People want to see consistency, people want to see every week what you're going to do. They don't want to see flashes. There are plenty of guys who flash, and don't continue to keep doing it.

Q: You don't consider yourself a guy with a flash?
A: No, I don't consider myself a guy with a flash. I did it the week before, I did it this past week, and I'm going to do it again this week.
