Q: What's the excitement level to get things started, and kind of get the ball rolling?
A: I think everybody's ready to go.  I'm ready to go. The defense is ready to go. The offense is ready to go. We're just trying to get out there and have some fun, basically.

Q: How important is setting the tone? Is it important to hit the ground running? What's your mindset on that?
A: I think we have to hit the ground running. When we're trying to come back from losing a game, guys are going to take care of that. I'm pretty sure that they'll take care if that. The defense will take care of that with some solid ball. I think that all of the guys are going to have fun out there, and just be one. It's going to be our first practice and we're going to try and give it all we got.

Q: Jason, when does the mind actually turn the page off of a Super Bowl title? Was it at minicamp? Was it at OTAs? Or do you have to start getting hit again, up in Albany?
A: I think it was after we got our rings. After we got them, it was time to get back to work. That was it.
Q: How about for you? Coming back this training camp, as opposed to last year? Last year, you were a guy who was trying to make a name. This year, you're an established star.
A: I'm just trying to be that 23-year-old kid trying to make the football team like I don't even have a spot on the team.
Q: You can say that. How do you do that?
A: It's easy. Just come out and work. Show the coaches that you are still trying to learn, because at the end of the day, you don't know it all.
Q: How much better do you think you can be?
A: I can be a lot better. I'm still getting better. I'm still learning, and that's a good thing.

Q: There was some talk about what Osi was going to do. Now that he's back and healthy, you're here, Tuck is back and healthy. What's it like, knowing that's going to be the threesome for the whole season?
A: We're ready to go. We're fired up to see how things work out and give everybody our A-game.

Q: We really haven't seen all three of you together, completely healthy. Do you have a sense of how good that can be?
A: It's too early to talk, because anything can happen. We're going to give it our best shot, go out there and play these games and see what happens.

Q: You talk about getting better. Where specifically can you improve?
A: I'm still improving. Trust me, I don't know it all. I've still got a lot to learn about the game of football. I'm doing quite a good job of it, but I've still got a lot to learn.

Q: Are you 50 percent of what you could be? What do you think, here?
A: I'm at about 50. I'm still learning and that's a good thing, right now. I want to come out here and learn, keep on learning.

Q: Coach talked about trying to figure out which team you guys are, the team from the first 14 games or the team from the rest of the season. As a defense, which defense were you? Were you the team from the playoffs, or from earlier on in the year?
A: We can't really tell right now. We just got back yesterday, and today will be our first day on the field. So we just have to watch and see. I'm pretty sure that the defense is going to step up, and try to do everything right.

Q: During the offseason, you guys had a lot of chances to look at film. You've seen what Tom's talking about in terms of the difference in the defense. It was a Jekyll-and-Hyde defense. How can you use that to get the defense right for the whole season?
A: Every guy was all in. That was the speech, everybody was all in. We gave it everything we had. We have to go through pre-season and the regular season like that. Everybody has to be all in and give it everything they got. Put it all on the line, and just play like it's your last game.

Q: Do you think you get can get more sacks than you did last year?
A: I don't know, man. I'll probably get fewer sacks, probably more. Who knows?

Q: Do you expect to get double-teamed?
A: Of course. I was getting them last year. That's not going to stop me. I'm just going to go out there and do my job. At the end of the day, I've got a job to do, and that's what I'll do.
